  • Ken Miller - Part II

First of all, I should say that I have a certain appreciation for people like Ken Miller. He freely admits that he doesn't believe in religion based on any real evidence. He's also willing to accept scientific findings first and then religion second. By that, I mean he feels inclined to accept evolution based on the evidence and then figure out the religious implications of that afterward. It doesn't make me want to convert to Catholicism, but I have a certain respect for it.

The weird part is that Miller is a type of Intelligent Design guy himself. Not in the conventional way and in a much better way. But, essentially, he believes that God set up a world in which evolution was possible or even inevitable and that's how God decided to create the world. So, there's still an ultimate designer behind the madness.

    Gotta run. More later.
